HFS understands the impetus Islam puts on a healthy halal diet. We are one of over 1,000 Halal Certification Authorities around the world tasked with ensuring the products Muslims use adhere to the strict compliance of dhabiha. Certification is a carefully coordinated and global effort that involves coordination of Islamic Scholars, Scientists, Experts and Authorities and Halal Certification Experts.
HFS strives to be open and transparent regarding its key processes of certification, monitoring and auditing of Halal products and processes, while maintaining our robust core Islamic Law principles and food safety systems.

Training
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) is the membership and awarding body for the environmental health sector, that has been instrumental in developing many of the environmental standards that have contributed to better public health and well being globally. It provides globally recognized standards and benchmarks across all areas of environmental health including food, public health, housing, environmental protection, and health and safety.
Today, CIEH continues to work tirelessly – setting and raising standards, campaigning to improve public health, supporting our members’ professional development, and influencing policy.
HFS is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) training account holder, registered to deliver courses that lead to accredited qualifications – through this affiliation with CIEH, HFS offers internationally recognised certificates in the following categories;

Consultancy & Advisory Services
HFS provides consulting and advisory services regarding Halal certification and compliance to individuals, institutions, organizations and business entities. In addition, HFS offers Halal Auditing on behalf of other Certification Bodies:
- Undertaking gap audits on behalf of Certification Bodies to research and establish what ingredients, documents and processes need checking
- Conducting scheduled and impromptu onsite audits as part of continuous audit and monitoring of producer/companies under Halal certification and compliance.
- Generating clear and accurate audit report that includes non-conformities and corrective and preventive actions to provide the results need to make informed decisions
Auditing is done under strict agreement and confidentiality to safeguard the Certification Bodies and their clients interests.
